This painting presents a carefully arranged still life scene, where a table covered with tablecloths of different textures and tones serves as the setting for a composition rich in details and nuances. The arrangement of the objects reveals a deliberate balance, in which each element occupies a precise place, generating a visual harmony that invites slow contemplation. The scene conveys a sense of quiet, as if time had stopped in an intimate and silent moment.

At the center of the composition stands an elevated fruit bowl containing a set of cherries of intense red color, whose presence provides an immediate focal point. These fruits, with their subtle shine, appear fresh and delicate, contrasting with the duller tones of the surroundings. Some cherries are outside the container, on the table, introducing a small gesture of naturalness within the orderly composition, suggesting a scene recently lived.

On either side of the fruit bowl are various objects that enrich the visual narrative, such as a teapot, a jug, a cup and a small lidded container.
