Description from the seller
“Geometry in Suspense” rises as a meditation on the tension between form and void, where geometry stops being a closed system to become a moving language. The figures, seemingly stable, are articulated in a precarious balance that defies constructive logic: they do not build, they suggest. In this sense, the composition does not describe an object, but a process of emergence, a suspended moment between what is and what has not yet finished becoming.
The use of color introduces a sensory dialectic that intensifies this ontological ambiguity. The dense, almost corporeal reds seem to anchor themselves to the plane, while the turquoises and oranges act as forces of displacement, opening perceptual cracks in the solidity of the whole. The background, divided into two chromatic fields, does not function as mere support, but as a conceptual horizon: a space where depth is not optical but mental. Thus, the work shifts the gaze from representation toward experience.
Ultimately, this piece can be read as a reflection on the limit—not as a boundary, but as a threshold. The forms do not close in on themselves; they interrupt, fold, and pass through, evoking a fragmented continuity that points to the contemporary condition of the subject. The sculptural and the pictorial merge in a kind of visual paradox: an object that does not occupy space, yet invokes it. The work, therefore, is not contemplated; it is inhabited intellectually.
