Description from the seller

Rare relics of Italian aviation history.
These instruments represent the era of analog flight, where the pilot depended on the precision of needles and air bubbles. Perfect for restoring a vintage cockpit or as industrial design objects for discerning collectors.

Thermometer Cylinder Head Temperature
• Function: Measures the temperature of the engine cylinders (likely for a twin-engine, given the two scales "S" Left and "D" Right).
• Details: Scale from 0 to 30 (referenced to °C × 10, so up to 300 degrees). Features a green optimal operating zone between 150 and 200°C.
• Condition: Very good aesthetic condition. On the back are the four electrical connection terminals.

Turn & Slip Indicator (Turn & Slip Indicator / "Sbandometro")
• Function: The needle indicates the rate of turn, while the bubble in the curved tube helps coordinate the turn (avoiding skids or slips).
• Noteworthy: Features the classic design of instruments installed on aircraft such as the FIAT G.55, Macchi C.202/205, or early post-war trainers (like the Fiat G.46).

Splendid vintage three-needle aviation altimeter, produced in Germany by Kollsman System-Technik GmbH (Munich) under license from Kollsman Instrument Corporation (New York), a world-leading company in flight instruments.
This military instrument bears a NATO stock number (NSN 6610-12-025-5444) and a serial number (12294), suggesting use in NATO air forces, most likely the German Bundeswehr. The identification plate is bilingual (English/German).
Specifications:
• Altitude range: from -1,000 to +80,000 feet (as indicated on the plate).
• Barometric setting: In millibars (hPa), currently set to 950 MB.
• Hand configuration: 3-hand model with main scale from 0 to 10. The reading is for 100 feet, 1000 feet and 10,000 feet (with a '1000 FT' window showing '0' and a barometric window). The main hand (100 feet) is currently at about 140 feet.
Condition:
• The altimeter is in excellent aesthetic condition, with an exceptionally clean and sharp front lens that allows a perfect, detailed view of the dial.
• The black case shows only minimal signs of wear, preserving the object's integrity. The instrument has not been tested for operation and is sold "as is", as a high-quality display collectible for display, restoration, or spare parts. Please view the detailed photos carefully to appreciate the real condition.
A piece of aviation history in superb condition, ideal for a cockpit or high-end military memorabilia collector.
Used, untested.
