Two boxes, each containing the classic set of spoon, fork and knife. The service as proposed was particularly sought after as a gift on the occasion of baptisms, first communions or confirmations. The meticulous workmanship confirms the provenance from Italian silversmiths. I did not deem it prudent to polish the silver, in order to leave the patina that confirms its era of manufacture and sale. The total weight of the 6 utensils is 250 grams, so taking into account the two blades one can infer that it is about 200 grams of 800 silver with a melt value exceeding 200 euros.
