Description from the seller

A decorative Dutch Art Deco accent/side table from the 1920s to 1940s, executed in oak and finished in (aged) white paint.
The table has a wonderful silhouette, with a round top, straight vertical supports and small turned ball feet. Its design is simple but full of character. The white painted finish adds charm, the paint has been softened by age, wear and visible traces of use.

The table was purchased at auction as a Metz & Co table, but we have not been able to verify this attribution. It is therefore offered as Dutch Art Deco, in the manner of Metz & Co.
The construction has been professionally repaired: the joints, which had become loose over time, have been expertly reglued. The table is now sturdy and stable, ready to be used again as an accent table, plant stand or decorative side table.

The aged white paint gives the piece much of its appeal. It may be an old later paint layer rather than the original finish. The table originally appears to have had a lower tier or shelf, which is now missing. Despite this, the piece remains visually balanced and very decorative.

A characterful and practical Dutch Art Deco table with plenty of presence, restored where needed and attractive in both modern and classic interiors.

Condition:
Good vintage condition after professional restoration. The joints have been reglued and the table is sturdy and stable. The painted surface shows age-related wear, marks, small chips, discoloration and imperfections. The lower tier/shelf is missing. Offered as photographed.
