Cartier Trinity Vendôme pen, burgundy lacquer body with gold-plated clip, nib and top, made in France in the late 20th century, in good used condition with light signs of wear, working twist mechanism, 13.4 cm long and 0.8 cm in diameter, serial 696889, with resin/polyester construction.
Description from the seller
A0000004744
The pen presents a very good overall condition, maintaining an elegant aesthetic fully aligned with its character as a luxury piece.
The burgundy speckled lacquer body remains with good shine and depth of color, with no visible material losses. There are light micro-scratches on the surface derived from use, only perceptible upon close inspection and with no impact on the overall aesthetics of the piece.
The gold-plated elements — the clip, nib and top cap finial — retain an excellent tone and presence, showing light signs of use such as fine marks or micro-scratches, especially in the more exposed areas. The characteristic Trinity ring maintains its definition and appeal, with very light wear in line with its age.
The twisting mechanism works correctly, offering smooth and precise operation, guaranteeing a comfortable and reliable writing experience.
Overall, it is a well-preserved piece, with normal signs of use for its age, that do not affect either its functionality or its aesthetic value as a collectible object.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
