Porcelain Chinese plate from the Qing Dynasty (Guangxu period), titled “Wanshou Wujiang” with a yellow imperial glaze, 18 cm diameter, featuring a central Shou symbol and bat and cloud motifs with four white reserves bearing the characters Wan Shou Wu Jiang, in Famille Rose enamels and a Greek-key border, in good condition with minor gold wear.

Chinese “Wanshou Wujiang” plate – Famille Rose on a yellow ground – Guangxu mark – Diameter: approx. 18.0 cm
A finely decorated porcelain plate from the Guangxu period (late Qing Dynasty).
The surface is coated with an imperial yellow enamel glaze (Jaune Imperial). In the center is a circular, stylized Shou character (Longevity), surrounded by colorful cloud bands and bat motifs (symbol of good luck).
Inscription: Four white reserves contain the iron-red characters “Wan”, “Shou”, “Wu”, “Jiang” (万寿无疆), which translates as: “May you live ten thousand years without end.”
The rim is adorned with a classic meander band (Greek key) in gold and iron red. The exterior is subtly decorated with three finely painted floral scrolls (peony/lotus) in Famille Rose enamel.
Minimal, age-appropriate wear to the gilded rim. The enamel colors are fresh and vividly preserved. No chips, no hairlines, and no restorations.
