Luigi Veronesi was born in 1908 in Milan. Trained between the 1920s and 1930s in an atmosphere of constructivist and Bauhausian influence, he is the only one, among the Italian abstract artists of the 1930s, to faithfully follow the Bauhaus approach, and to have early fortune abroad as well.
