Two brass candelabra in Rococo style from Spain, dating to 1970–1980, with a golden patina on latón and a marble circular base, measuring 35 cm high, 21 cm wide and 18 cm deep, weighing 10 g, in good used condition with signs of age and imperfections.
Description from the seller
Two classic candelabras in Rococo style (or Neoc Rococo), a style characterized by curved, asymmetric shapes and vegetal motifs.
Here I detail what can be observed:
Analysis of materials
The metal structure is brass with a gold patina. The level of detail in the acanthus leaves and flowers is typical of European casting.
The circular base is marble, which provides stability and an extra touch of luxury.
• Claw feet or Luis XV style: The feet that support the marble base are very elaborately worked, suggesting they are decorative pieces of good quality, probably from the mid-20th century (although they imitate the eighteenth-century style).
