A highly collectible vintage MONET charm bracelet from the iconic 1963 “Mementos” collection, one of the earliest and most innovative examples of interchangeable charm jewelry.
This substantial silver-tone chain bracelet is adorned with five exquisitely detailed and whimsical charms, each crafted with remarkable attention: a finely modeled bell with a clapper, an ornate filigree pitcher with exceptional detailing, a delightful birdcage containing a bird which gently swings on its perch, a rare and beautifully decorated crown and a charming flower featuring a moving bead inside.
Each charm is fitted with its own spring ring clasp, allowing it to be added, removed, or rearranged, perfectly reflecting Monet’s pioneering concept of customizable jewelry.
These charms are documented in Alice Vega’s authoritative reference book Monet: The Master Jewelers, and examples from this early series are increasingly difficult to find, making this bracelet a true piece of fashion history.
