Designer: Laurence Bourthoumieux, the Hermès scarf 'Tropiques' was first issued in 1987 and reissued in 1990.

The design of this carré is a lush celebration of the fauna and flora of tropical regions. In the center, a symmetrical composition features exotic birds among dense foliage and colorful flowers. The edge is adorned with zebras and palm trees.
