Chess set - Resin

A chess set entirely made of poly-resin, in Baroque/Renaissance style.
The chessboard is integrated into a decorative frame with volute motifs and carved feet, giving the whole piece the appearance of a furnishing object as well as a game.
The 32 pieces are divided into two color variants: one side in stone-grey resin with an antique finish, the other in black resin with a green-copper patina.
Both sets feature richly decorated figures — a king with an elaborate crown, a bishop with Renaissance attire, a knight with a carved mane, a rook with ornate cornices, pawns with foliate bases.
The contrast between the two colors makes the set particularly striking both on the gaming table and as a decorative element.
Chessboard dimensions: about 46 × 46 cm. King height: about 12 cm.
