Sculpture, Shiva con Nandi - 8 cm - Bronze

A bronze deity of a very beautiful golden color, in which Shiva or Vishnu, or both, are depicted, along with the sun and the moon, the mace, offerings at its feet at the base, and the triple crown. An animal appears that seems like Nandi, Shiva’s vehicle, and in one of its hands it also carries a bowl, another Shaiva instrument (Shaivite). The god is very erect and has a strong presence. The features, though somewhat worn by the pujas, allow the large eyes to be seen.
