History and Design
In auction a masterpiece of glassmaking signed Saint-Louis, the oldest royal glassworks in France (since 1586). This decanter belongs to the famous Apollo collection, created in 1979.
The Apollo model is renowned for its perfect balance between classic and modern: characterized by the iconic "Venetian ribs" (slender vertical flutes) that run along the bottle's slender body, culminating in a pointed, fully faceted diamond-cut stopper, which acts as a prism catching every ray of light.
