Brilliantly designed antique Cepuk Perak Peranakan, a traditional silver box used in the Peranakan culture; also known as Sirih box (betel nut container). It is made of repoussé silver or silver alloy. It was made in Indonesia during the second half of the 19th century and is in perfect condition. All closures work perfectly and seal perfectly. Made with a great deal of precision and craftsmanship!

Schitterend vormgegeven antieke Cepuk Perak Peranakan, een traditioneel zilveren doosje gebruikt in de Peranakan-cultuur; ookwel Sirihdoosje (betelnootcontainer). Het is gemaakt van gedreven zilver of zilverlegering. Het is gemaakt in Indonesië tijdens de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw en verkeert in perfecte conditie. Alle sluitingen werken perfect en sluiten perfect af. Met zéér veel nauwkeurigheid en vakmanschap gemaakt!
