Refined porcelain bowl "Rose Medallion" (Rose Medallion), a classic Canton porcelain style (Guangzhou) of modest size with a diameter of 37 cm.
This piece features the genre's typical decorations, characterized by a color palette vibrant and dominated by pink (pink family) and green:
Alternating panels: The design is divided into reserves (panels) that alternately show scenes of daily life or court life (with figures in traditional dress) and natural motifs with flowers, birds, and butterflies.
Central medallion: In the center of the bowl there is a circular medallion that encloses an additional decorative element, such as flowers and birds.
Decorated borders: The spaces between the panels and the borders are enriched with gold details and floral scrolls.
Origin: in China during the Qing Dynasty (19th century).
