A limited edition Chichibu from 2017 aged in IPA casks.
The aroma features cider, lemon tea, honey lemon candy, grapefruit, ginger candy, piney resin, floral hops, buttery malt, and dusty mustiness. The taste is punchy and malty, with grapefruit bitterness, lemon tea, candied ginger, green apples, pineapples, apricots, lemons, and mandarin orange peels. The finish is pronouncedly bitter and pithy, with orange blossoms and honeyed undertones.
