Description from the seller

Atmospheric and refined crucifix of Belgian origin, dating to the first third of the 20th century (circa 1900–1930). This piece stands out for its graceful rococo-inspired ornamentation, where the religious character is subtly combined with decorative elegance.

The Christ figure is executed in light metal (likely zamak or a tin alloy), with a soft patina that gives the whole piece an authentic, restrained appearance. The design is classic and balanced, with attention to detail without excessive drama. The cross is made of dark-stained wood (likely oak or walnut) and enriched with beautifully worked appliques in rococo style. The asymmetric scroll motifs and floral accents give the object a decorative refinement typical of historical interior pieces from this period.

This type of wall crucifix was often used in bourgeois interiors, salons, or religious spaces, and today forms an attractive collectible within both religious art and antique decor.
