Mid-20th century - Aldo Londi for Bitossi - Mug with dimensions 12.5 x 12.5 x 9 cm (diameter) - Item in generally good condition - This vintage mug is a piece of Italian ceramic from the Trifoglio Blu series, designed by Aldo Londi for the Bitossi Ceramiche manufactory between the 1960s and 1970s.
Characterized by a blue central band with raised geometric decorations (clover motif) on a dark brown ceramic body.
Glazed stoneware, typical of the artistic production of Montelupo Fiorentino from that period.
Aldo Londi, a key figure in the stylistic renewal of Bitossi, also known for the famous "Rimini Blue" collection.
The handwritten signature "Italy" indicates that the piece was intended for foreign markets, often distributed by companies such as Raymor or Rosenthal Netter.
Vintage used item with any minimal signs of time and use as described and shown in the photographs; the photographs are an integral part of the description.
