Hanging lamp - opaline glass - Bauhaus

Art deco ceiling lamp from the 1930s-40s in the style of Gispen, Giso, Nieuwe Zakelijkheid and Bauhaus. The glass shade is marked; probably with Philite (see the photos).

Glass shade made of opal glass in perfect condition, nickel-plated fixture in used but good condition. The fixture shows wear on the outside; the dark color comes from the underlying copper, no rust. On the inside the same color since it is not nickel-plated there.

Newly fitted socket and wiring, in good working order and suitable for E27 bulbs.

Height 22 cm, diameter 25 cm.
