Cornet vase (Solignac) cobalt blue – Val Saint Lambert, cut crystal, 1950s
Elongated cornette vase in intense cobalt blue cut crystal (deep, saturated hue typical of post-war productions), Val Saint Lambert model from the 1950s. Late Art Deco / modernist decoration with crisscross diamond-point facets and lozenge motifs on the upper part, transitioning to a vertical fluted shaft and a stable flared base. Original Val Saint Lambert label present on the body (now completely illegible, paper yellowed and faded with time), stamped in the mass "Val Saint Lambert Belgique". Light limestone (limescale) traces at the base (typical and non-detrimental, easily cleanable). Condition: Excellent: no chips, cracks, chips or notable scratches; crystal clear and bright. Weight approx. 500 g. Height 24 cm, top diameter 6 cm, foot diameter approx. 7-8 cm. Provenance: private Belgian collection.
