For sale is a 6-piece set of original Jena glass (Schott & Gen. Mainz). This glass is world-famous for its extreme lightness and heat resistance (borosilicate glass). A true design classic of German postwar modernism.
The set consists of:
4x teacups: With an elegant handle and a white graphic motif at the top edge typical of the 1970s.
2x stackable cups: Simple, functional form with the characteristic step for secure stacking.
Product details:
Material: High-quality borosilicate glass (heat resistant, very light).
Manufacturer: Schott & Gen. Mainz (with bottom mark).
Style: Mid-Century Modern / Functionalism.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The glass is clear, not cloudy, and has no chips or cracks.
