Sanctuary lamp - Copper, Brass - Copper God's Lamp

Antique sanctuary lamp (also called a sanctuary lamp) made of yellow brass. This type of religious hanging lamp was traditionally used in churches and chapels to indicate the presence of the Holy Sacrament. The object is richly decorated with raised-relief grape clusters and wine leaves, symbols referring to the Last Supper. The lamp features a gracefully worked openwork rim (crown) and is equipped with three original chains that converge at a hanging eye. On the underside there is a distinctive small copper cross.
