Imposing mythological bronze statue, polished, named 'Mercury' (Hermes), which depicts the messenger of the gods. Set on a cylindrical black marble base. Very beautifully detailed and chic statue, standing about 41 cm high. The original statue is kept in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence. A 17th-century model in the collection of the Duke of Brissac was kept in the Louvre in Paris around the 20th century.

Dimensions: Height 41 cm, base diameter 14 cm. Signed and stamped authenticity by the bronze foundry.

Imposant mythologisch beeld  in brons gepolijst genaamd ''mercury'' (hermes), 
wat de boodschapper van de goden, voorstelt. 
Gezet op een cilindrische sokkel van zwart marmer.
Zeer mooi gedetailleerd en chique beeld maar liefst 41 cm hoog.
Het originele beeld wordt bewaard in het Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence. 
Een model uit de 17e eeuw in de collectie van de hertog van Brissac werd rond de 20e eeuw bewaard in het Louvre in Parijs.

Gesigneerd en stempel echtheid van de bronsgieterij.
