The Esculap, or Esculap, is an ancient Greek symbol associated with the Greek god Asclepius, astrology and with medicine and healing.

The Esculap consists of a snake coiled around a staff.

The Esculap is for example used in the logo of the World Health Organization

but is also in the Netherlands (by doctors less and less) used as a sticker on the windshield of their car and sometimes as a sign for pharmacies.
