Javanese Solo keris in top condition.
Skillfully carved high-quality grip with sublime patra’s/ masks and silver mendak.
The Wrangka/schuit is flawlessly cut from a very beautiful flamed wood with graceful curls.
Beautiful old deeply set silver pendok with symbols and floral engravings such as lotus flowers.
The Wilah is straight forged with 2 pamoren by a very experienced and skilled Empu with pamor motif Tunggul Kukus / Toenggal Koekoes (rising smoke/ the smoking volcano) on one side and on the other side the pamor motif Pulo Tirta (Islands in holy water) seems to be forged into the Wilah.
The Damascus steel sounds beautifully clear when you tap the Wilah.
Aside from one pair of small dents at the rear in the pendok, the entire keris is absolutely damage-free, also no cracks or old repairs.
This keris is a beautiful addition for the serious collector and an enrichment of your Keris collection.
