Description from the seller
Liquore Strega – Alfredo Chappuis (Milan, 1906)
authorised reprint 1990s/2000s
Historical advertising poster created by Alfredo Chappuis for the Giuseppe Alberti Company of Benevento, on the occasion of the Milan International Exposition of 1906. The female figure, wrapped in a blazing orange drapery, raises a bottle of the famous liqueur, a symbol of Italian elegance and liveliness. The green and orange tones, combined with the sinuous and theatrical graphics, reflect the Art Nouveau taste of the era and the visionary energy of the artist.
Perfect for classic settings or with a vintage flavor, where the color contrast adds warmth and character. It pairs with neutral walls, dark woods or brass details, ideal for living rooms, bar areas or restaurants with a retro taste. Adds historical charm and a touch of elegance from other times. Official reprint from an authorized entity, 1990s.
