Description from the seller
The poster depicts Viktor Glukhov (Виктор Глухов), a Soviet circus artist, and is a poster for the Soviet Circus (Цирк) made in the USSR in the 60s–70s. The graphic style, with fluid shapes and psychedelic lettering, is typical of the late-Soviet Moscow graphic avant-garde, influenced by both Russian Constructivism and Western psychedelic art of the Sixties.
Many of these posters were created by illustrators active for the publishing house “Soyuzgoscirk” (Union of State Circuits) and printed to promote individual artists or performances.
NOTE: This is a later edition probably from the 70s
