An Edwardian solid silver (925) case from Birmingham, England, dated to 1913, with an Art Nouveau decoration, measuring 6 cm wide, 8 cm tall and 1.5 cm deep, weighing 85 g, in fairly good used condition with possible minor losses and a non‑working clasp.

Magnificent piece of English Edwardian-era silverware.
This solid silver case (Sterling 925) was made in 1913 in the famous silverware city of Birmingham. It features a sumptuous design of scrolls and arabesques hand-engraved on the upper face.
Technical specifications:
- Origin: England (Birmingham).
- Year: 1913 (Date letter "o").
- Silversmith: George Unite & Sons & Lyde Ltd (Marking G.L.Ld).
- Metal: Sterling silver certified by the 'Lion Passant' hallmark.
Condition: Very good condition. The chasing remains clearly defined with little wear. The hinge is fully functional. The clasp no longer works.
Decoration: Richly chased with a blank central cartouche, ideal for personalization (initials engraving).
The interior features the original loops for elastic bands (elastic bands not supplied). Perfect for use as an elegant card holder or for a prestige silverware collector.
