A remarkable and well-defined Siderite pseudomorph after Pyrrhotite from the historic Turț (Ghezuri) Mine in Satu Mare County, Romania. This specimen is an excellent example of mineral replacement, where the original pyrrhotite crystal form has been faithfully preserved and completely transformed into siderite.

The piece features sharp, geometric crystal shapes with the characteristic habit of pyrrhotite, now expressed in the warm brown tones and subtle sheen of siderite. The preservation of form is particularly striking, giving the specimen both strong visual structure and scientific interest.

Pseudomorphs from this locality are highly regarded among collectors for their clarity and aesthetic appeal, and this example stands out for its crisp definition and balanced composition. It represents a fascinating snapshot of geological processes in action.

An outstanding addition for collectors who appreciate mineral transformations, classic Romanian localities, and visually distinctive cabinet pieces.
