Description from the seller

Set of two elegant antique crystal decanters are distinguished by its beautifully cut flat-sided body, creating a refined geometric silhouette and a brilliant play of light across the surface. The precise cutting highlights the clarity and quality of the crystal, characteristic of fine early 19th-century French production. The carafes are presented in lightweight and mid-weight crystal. Perfectly proportioned, enhancing the brilliance and decorative refinement of the piece.
The style, quality of the crystal and cutting are consistent with productions attributed to the early French crystal workshops of Le Creusot, the historic manufacture closely connected with the development of the great French crystal houses such as Baccarat and Saint‑Louis during the early 19th century.
The stoppers are not original to the decanters, however it fits very well and complements the pieces harmoniously.
In very good antique condition with light signs of age consistent with its period. The crystal remains clear and well preserved., lids are not originals.
A refined and decorative example of early French crystal craftsmanship. Some light traces of time could be found.
Height — 22.5; 29 cm
Top diameter — 4.2; 3 cm
Base diameter — 6; 6.5 cm
Circumference — 24.5; 24 cm
