Naples-era mandolin, estimated from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, with a teardrop-shaped body and a softly arched back, featuring classic lutherie details and characteristics typical of the Neapolitan model. Decorated with elaborate motifs and mother-of-pearl, it has the 8 original tuning pegs for the strings (the strings probably need partial replacement since it has been unused for some time). The included nib/pick is in tortoiseshell, and from the photos you can notice features such as the inlays along the edges and the ebony pickguard, to give you a better sense of it.
