This Velocette Venom Endurance Special is not an ordinary Venom Endurance.
Velocette released 5 Venom Endurance models with slightly different specifications than the regular Venom Endurance (also a rare sight) of that time. Three were shipped to America, and two (with ascending engine numbers VM6038 and VM6039) to the Philippines.
The owner, who lived in the Philippines in 1966, bought one of the two and parked the motorcycle in a nice spot, without riding it further. With the other Velocette sold in the Philippines, plenty of riding was done until it had an accident. The damaged motorcycle went back to the firm Campos, the importer of Velocettes, and there the owner of this unit that is now up for auction bought the engine block, transmission, and various loose parts that came with this motorcycle.
In fact, this is 1.5 very rare Velocette motorcycles.
