This antique dinnerware is a collection of asparagus plates from the renowned French manufacturer Longchamp, specifically the Velars model. These plates are pieces of terre de fer (fine earthenware) hand-painted, characterized by their polychrome floral design and a cobalt blue relief border with arabesque motifs and acanthus leaf accents in cobalt blue. All the plates are engraved with their authenticity register.

Features: They have integrated compartments; the smallest is usually used to serve sauces or melted butter that accompanies the asparagus.

These plates are exclusive for collectors and lovers of table art. They are not new, over 100 years old, retaining vivid tones in the pattern without breakage; it is worth noting the light patina tones of age in the varnish and crazing and rubbing in compartments due to their age and use.

They are antique asparagus plates made in Terre de Fer (ironware) around 1915-1920. They feature a deep royal blue border in relief and very well detailed hand-painted floral motifs.
They include a special compartment designed to place the sauce or butter when serving asparagus.
