About the artist
AFAT lives and works in Toulouse. Drawing, present since childhood, forms the foundation of his practice. After several years between studio and graffiti, he finds in aerosol a tool of freedom and energy.
In 2023, a need for purity set in: he returns to a more instinctive form of drawing. On raw linen canvases, he paints at the spray can figures drawn in a single breath, in a deliberately naïve style.
