Coffee service by Massimo Materassi, designed for MAS Italy in 1984. Materassi graduated in 1979 from the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture. After a short period at a professional firm in Brescia, he opened his own design studio in 1982. He designed this coffee service for MAS Italy in 1984. The service is entirely executed in Memphis style and finished with the bacteria pattern. Materassi is today still active as a product designer and architect. The service consists of 1 coffee pot, 5 cups, 5 saucers and 1 sugar pot. The service is in good condition and is stamped on the bottom with MAS.
