Crazé, Oopsy, original work on paper in ink, 2024, 65 cm by 50 cm, Culture Pop themed Graffiti piece, signed, with certificate of authenticity, sold by Galerie, France, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
The Paris gallery CHENUS LONGHI presents “Oopsy,” an original work by the artist Crazé that comes with its certificate of authenticity. While his street pieces in Paris, especially on trucks, are characterized by lettering, his studio work is more figurative, imbued with American pop culture. This original painting on paper, for example, depicts a character directly inspired by popular imagery and cartoon codes, reminiscent of the Peanuts universe. He holds a spray paint can, a clear wink to his graffiti practice. The line is swift, almost sketchy. Behind this apparent simplicity, the work plays on a disconnect between the character’s innocence and the reality of the gesture, between pop culture and graffiti culture. An effective piece that works immediately, a small jewel for graffiti collectors.

About the artist:
Crazé is a French artist from the Paris vandal graffiti scene, active since the early 2000s after returning from his native Guadeloupe. Very present in the street, he has become known for a prolific body of work in the streets and on Paris’ trucks, developing a practice of direct and rapid lettering. His career is marked by high mobility: he travels regularly to paint and exchange with other writers, notably in Italy and New York, feeding a practice deeply linked to international graffiti culture. He has also carried out notable collaborations in 2025 and 2026 with Starcow, Shinzo and Saucony. Crazé is one of those highly active and increasingly sought-after artists, at the heart of the Paris scene, but also international. To watch closely.
Crazé is part of the street art and graffiti movement, alongside artists like Vhils, Invader, Shepard Fairey, JonOne, Kaws, Futura.
