A real natural object with character: this side table is made from a solid hardwood log and combines rugged natural beauty with practical use.
The striking multicolored patina, the organic shape and the visible annual rings make each piece unique — this is one of them.

ORIGIN & PERIOD
Probably Dutch origin.
Based on the bark, the warm orange-brown color of the sapwood, the dark heartwood and the dense grain pattern it most likely is oak (Quercus) — in any case a heavy hardwood, not softwood or coniferous wood.
The annual ring pattern suggests a tree age of about 80–120 years, which means the tree was likely felled between 1900 and 1940.
The style of the swivel wheels suggests a modification in the 1980s–1990s.
These are estimates based on visual inspection of the photos — no dendrological testing.
