About the artist:
ARDPG lives and works in Bordeaux. After studying design and art history, he began in the late 1990s to develop a body of work mixing painting, collage, and typography with a quirky spirit. Inspired by antiquated statuary and the classical masters, he distorts these references by incorporating fragmented words that play with readability. His sculpture “Our Marianne,” commissioned by the city of Roissy-en-Brie, reveals the text of the anthem as you approach. In 2025–26, we’ve seen him everywhere: at the Parenthèses Urbaines festival in Roissy-en-Brie, at ZOO Art Show in La Défense, at Urban Art Fair, and not forgetting his participation in the exhibitions “Monsieur Madame” and “Pokemon” at the Musée en Herbe.
ARDPG is part of the street art current, alongside artists such as Vhils, Invader, Shepard Fairey, JonOne, Kaws, Futura.
