Montegrappa - Tribute to Ayrton Senna - Roller ball pen

This Montegrappa limited edition "Tribute to Ayrton Senna" from 1995 is one of the 1960 roller ball pens released. It is also the first limited edition from Montegrappa to honor a sportsperson. The passing of the Brazilian maestro in Formula One racing in 1994 at the San Marino Grand Prix was the reason for Montegrappa to release a roller ball pen a year later.

The roller ball pen is made in sterling silver. The cap features a detailed tire-tread pattern with the Montegrappa logo and a .925 imprint. The clip is shaped like the cockpit of an F1 car

The roller pen comes in the original inner and outer box with the special stand in the form of an F1 race car. The case and brochure complete the set. It is not often that a "Tribute to Ayrton Senna" is offered complete and in this excellent condition. A must for enthusiasts of both Ayrton Senna and collectors of Montegrappa limited editions
