Description from the seller

Elegant Art Deco pique-fleurs vase – Rosaline pressed glass (circa 1930) – with original insert piece

Charming and refined Art Deco pique-fleurs vase from the 1930s, executed in a rosaline tint. This type of vase, designed to arrange flowers perfectly with the help of an insert piece, combines functionality with the typical geometric elegance of the Art Deco period.

The design stands out for its clean, faceted lines and the well-crafted rim with subtle decorative motifs. The rosy color gives the whole a light, almost powdery appearance that plays beautifully with the light.

A major advantage is that the original insert piece (pique-fleurs) is still present and in good condition – this is often missing in such pieces, which makes this vase even more interesting for enthusiasts.

Type: Pique-fleurs vase
Period: circa 1930s
Material: Pressed glass
Origin: Unknown
Color: Rosaline
Height: 18.8 cm
Diameter of vase: 17.8 cm
Diameter of insert piece: 14.2 cm

Condition:
In good overall condition. During the manufacturing process there is a thermal stress crack – a production fault that can typically occur with pressed glass from this period. This is visible and detailed in the photos.
No additional damage such as chips or later cracks.

Glass threads and air bubbles present are inherent to the production process and underline the authentic character.

The photos form an integral part of the description.
