This piece features the exquisite "Aotsubu" technique, characterized by thousands of meticulously hand-applied microscopic blue dots, creating a unique textured background. The bowl is further decorated with elegant gold-painted Clematis (Tessen) flowers, a symbol of moral integrity and perseverance in Japanese culture. The contrast between the deep blue dots, the rich gold gilding, and the white ceramic body creates a sophisticated and luxurious aesthetic typical of high-quality Kutani porcelain. The bottom bears the hand-painted signature "Kutani Shuho" (九谷 秀峰). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
