Antique coal iron made of brass, equipped with a turned wooden handle and a front opening hatch.
The body of the iron features raised relief depictions of dragons or chimeras on both sides.
The weight is about 1.2 kg, and it is made of brass.
These decorated irons usually date from the late 19th or early 20th century. A collectible item also useful as a paperweight on a desk given its weight of 1200 g.
