Beautiful and rare Swedish sewing box on slender turned legs, fully executed in traditional Scandinavian folk art style. This characterful piece bears on the interior the original hand-painted inscription “Eva 1947”, making it not only a functional object but also a special piece of personal history.

The warm wood tones are combined with richly executed hand-painted decorations in typical Swedish colors: deep reddish-brown, cream, olive green and warm orange. The floral motifs and graceful scrolls reference the traditional Swedish Allmoge style, beloved for its artisanal charm and decorative appearance.
