Description from the seller
Large mouth-blown glass bowl — freeform design with a wavy rim
An impressive, handmade bowl of mouth-blown glass with a vibrant, multicolored "confetti" pattern.
The bowl is characterized by an organic, freely formed rim that undulates, a technique requiring craftsmanship and full control over the glassblowing process.
Colors and finish
The interior shows an explosion of color: orange, cobalt blue, lemon yellow, red, lavender, brown and white.
The exterior has a deep, rich eggplant/plum tint that nicely frames the vibrant inside.
The macro detail photos show minimal air bubbles in the glass — characteristic of authentic hand-blown work and not damage.
Dimensions
Diameter: 46 cm
Height: 17 cm
Weight: 4 kg
Style and origin
Based on style and execution, it is likely manufactured in Italy (Murano), although a signature or documentation is lacking to confirm this. The free, sculptural form and rich color composition point to an experienced glass artist. Based on style and execution, we estimate the piece to be from the period 1970–1990.
Condition
Very good condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. The small air inclusions are inherent to the production process.
