Side table - Oak, Brass - Amsterdamse School

Charming Dutch coffee table from the 1920s-30s, made of oak with a richly decorated brass top. The small table has a fine, artisanal appearance that nicely aligns with the Amsterdam School and rural Art Deco influences from that period.

The round brass top features engraved and hammered motifs with traditional farm scenes and clear folkloric influences.

The oak base has elegant, curved supports and a second round platform at the bottom. The table is in lovely vintage condition and remains quite sturdy. The wood retains a warm look and the brass top is also well preserved. On the brass there is some light green patina in a few spots, presumably old beeswax, and the wood has a few minimal, light blemishes. See the last 4 detail photos.
