Gorgeous set of 12 hand-blown crystal glasses from the prestigious Belgian manufacturer Val Saint Lambert. It concerns the iconic model 'Derby', a design dating from the early 20th century (ca. 1900-1920).
These glasses are a beautiful example of craftsmanship. They are fitted with a ground pontil on the underside, which shows that each glass was hand-blown from the blowing rod and then expertly ground smooth. The bowl is decorated with the characteristic cut 'olives', which provide a stunning refraction of light.
