The word ‘photo’ didn’t even exist yet!
Excursions Daguériennes, the most remarkable views and monuments of the globe. A bound album containing 22 prints on laid paper by Rittner and Goupil, compiled by N. P. Lerebours (1807–1873). 1842 edition. Engravings in good condition. Appears complete but one page of text is missing; two plates have been cut out to be reinserted. Pages slightly dog-eared and binding worn. Nevertheless, this is a museum piece in the history of photographic printing.
