Set of 6 large Baccarat crystal water glasses, Pompadour model.

Pompadour is a beautiful crystal pattern decorated with a fine frieze beneath which flowers arranged in a trefoil are engraved. It is present, offered in two forms, in the 1916 Tableware catalog. This glass is distinguished by its hexagonally faceted stem that widens subtly toward the top and by the delicacy of its line.

Our glasses do not bear Baccarat's signature, production being prior to 1936 — the date when the crystal works began to apply its acid-etched hallmark to its productions.
