Senufo stool - Sénoufo - Côte d'Ivoire

This traditional piece originates from the Senoufo culture and is mainly found in the Ivory Coast, Mali, and Burkina Faso.

Made of red wood. Although the Senoufo stool often has a relatively firm seat, it is designed for optimal comfort, especially with prolonged use. Traditionally used in African homes, the Senoufo stool is ideal to place around a coffee table, in a living room, or outdoors. It can also serve as a decorative element in an ethnic or bohemian ambiance. To maintain and preserve the wood’s beauty, it is advisable to use a soft cloth to dust, and if necessary, apply a wood oil to nourish the material and prevent it from drying out.
